In chapter three, Joel depicts both the coming of End time events as well as the coming judgment on the nations during his writing. Israel had suffered much at the hands of other nations. God promised to restore His people and judge those who had harmed them. This provides a snapshot of the things to come when Christ returns. God is on the side of those who put their trust in Him.
